I know that right now we all feel like we're in a time of waiting.
Waiting for the economy to open back up. Waiting for life to return to normal. Waiting for the virus to be gone. Maybe you're waiting for news about a sick loved one or a lost job or for that dream to come true.
I also know that waiting is hard.
But here's something else I know. Even in the waiting, God is there. He never leaves us, never forsakes us. He's always working things out.
If you'll let Him, He will see you through this period of waiting. He will comfort you, strengthen you, love you. If only you'll seek Him, not the destination.
His presence in our lives is greater than our measly human minds can even comprehend. If you've placed your faith in Jesus, you can KNOW - without a shadow of a doubt - that you'll be okay.
No matter what the economy does. No matter what the virus does.
You will be okay.
With Jesus on your side, you have nothing to fear.
That's not to say things won't be tough. In fact, the Bible promises we will have troubles in this world. But JESUS HAS OVERCOME THE WORLD!
“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” -John 16:33
That's where our peace is. That's where our hope is.
We already know the end of the story. Good wins; evil loses. We just have to hang on.
So while you're waiting, trust God. Cling to Him. Look for ways to serve Him and others. Prepare your household, your finances. Make wise choices.
Waiting doesn't mean being complacent.
Remember: Read your Bible. Pray for Guidance. Act on the next small step. #readprayact ...even in the waiting.
