It’s a new year. That means new books! But where should you start? There are so many amazing books being published every month that it can be hard to choose.
Don’t worry, friend. I’ve got you! In this post, I’m sharing 10 Christian Fiction books I’m looking forward to diving into this year.
10 Christian Fiction Books for Your TBR List
I don’t know about you, but I have a hard time keeping track of the books I’ve read and the books I want to read. I tend to impulse-buy a book when it grabs my attention, and then it might sit in my Kindle for a year (or more!) before I actually read it.
So my goal this year is to get better about managing my TBR pile and sharing those books here on my blog and on my Instagram and Facebook.
Let’s start with the books I’m planning on reading this year.
1. The Roads We Follow by Nicole Deese
Nicole Deese is one of my favorite Christian authors. I read her novel The Words We Lost last year and could not put it down! I highly recommend that one!
This new novel (which comes out in April) follows the daughter of a country music legend as she tries to establish a career as an author. Country music and writing? Yes, please!
Here’s a bit of the Amazon description:
“As the youngest daughter of a country music legend, Raegan Farrow longs to establish an identity away from the spotlight and publish her small-town romances under a pen name. But after her dream is dashed when she won't exploit her mother's fame to further her own career, she hears a rumor from a reliable source regarding a tell-all being written about the Farrow family. Making matters worse, the unknown author has gone to great lengths to remain anonymous until publication.”

2. Memory Lane by Becky Wade
This one actually came out last year, but I never got around to reading it. It looks super cute, though, and has lots of positive reviews. I also adore Becky Wade!
The next in the series, Rocky Road, is available for pre-order now, so I’ll most likely add that one to my list after I read Memory Lane.
About the book:
“After surviving a trauma several years back, Remy Reed relocated to a cottage on one of Maine’s most remote islands. She’s arranged her life just the way she wants it, spending her time working on her wood sculptures and soaking in the beauty of nature. It’s quiet and solitary — until the day she spots something bobbing in the ocean.
Her binoculars reveal the “something” to be a man, and he’s struggling to keep his head above water. She races out to save him and brings him into her home. He’s injured, which doesn’t detract from his handsomeness nor make him any easier to bear.
Remy would love nothing more than to return him to his people, but he has no recollection of his life prior to the moment she rescued him.”

3. To Bring You Back by Emily Conrad
Full disclosure: This one has been sitting in my Kindle for at least a year. Oops!
It was actually released back in 2021, but I have yet to read it. Not because I haven’t wanted to, though!
So 2024 will be the year I dive into this one, especially because Emily has since released a few other books in the same series, and I’d love to read those, too. But I don’t want to do that until I’ve read this one.
To Bring You Back is a second chance Christian romance with plenty of great reviews. A little about it:
“Though rock star Gannon Vaughn and his band, Awestruck, have conquered the music industry, he can't overcome his feelings for the woman he's loved since high school.
The impacts of mental illness and almost a decade of separation stand between them, but Adeline Green is still one of the few people who cared for him before he made it big. Acting on faith and the persistence that made him famous, he's determined to win her back.”

4. Indigo Isle by T.I. Lowe
This is another of the Christian Fiction books that have been on my TRB for a while. It came out last year and I’ve been wanting to read it ever since. It’s gonna happen this year!
Y’all, when I say T.I. Lowe is one of my absolute favorite authors, I’m not exaggerating. I read her book Under the Magnolias and fell in love! That book is in my top 10 reads of all time. And I’ve read a LOT of books, so that’s really saying something. (I highly, highly recommend it if you haven’t read it yet.)
So, when Indigo Isle came out, I immediately put it on my TBR — without even reading the blurb. That’s how good Under the Magnolias was.
T.I. Lowe writes Southern fiction (which is right up my alley!). What this book’s about:
“Sonny Bates left South Carolina fifteen years ago and never looked back. Now she’s a successful Hollywood location scout who travels the world, finding perfect places for movie shoots. Home is wherever she lands, and between her busy schedule and dealing with her boss’s demands, she has little time to think about the past . . .until her latest gig lands her a stone’s throw from everything she left behind.”

5. The Lady’s Mine by Francine Rivers
If you read Christian Fiction (and probably even if you don’t), then you know who Francine Rivers is. I first fell in love with her writing when I read Redeeming Love — which is probably true of a lot of people.
Since then, I’ve read a couple more of her novels, and she never disappoints. The Lady’s Mine is her latest release (I believe), and I can’t wait to devour it!
Here’s a little snippet from the Amazon page:
“New York Times bestselling author Francine Rivers returns to the California frontier in this sweeping, romantic tale of a displaced New England suffragette, a former Union soldier disinherited by his Southern family, and the town they join forces to save.”

6. The Beekeeper Next Door by Danielle Thorne
Danielle Thorne is a fellow Georgia author, so I love supporting her! But I’ve also read her work, and it’s really good.
The Beekeeper Next Door is her upcoming Harlequin Love Inspired release (available for pre-order now) that follows a beekeeper (how fun!), her son, and their new next-door neighbor.
Here’s the blurb:
“Facing his fear could give him the family he’s always wanted.
Returning to his hometown to clean up his late parents’ home, professor Heath Underwood has no intention of making his stay permanent. Especially when he discovers his neighbor is a beekeeper. But avoiding widow Ali Harding proves difficult when her eight-year-old son bonds with him and his dog. As Heath spends more time with them, his fear of bees — and heartbreak — could stand in the way of his happily-ever-after…”

7. To Win a Prince by Toni Shiloh
This book was actually released in 2022, but it looks super cute! I follow Toni Shiloh on social media and have been wanting to read her work — this one looks like a good place to start.
Toni won a Christy award last year (major award in the Christian publishing world!), so I know her books have got to be good. Can’t wait to dive into them!
Here’s a bit about To Win a Prince from the Amazon description:
“As a fashion aficionado and best friend of the queen of the African island country Ọlọrọ Ilé, Iris Blakely dreams of using her talent to start a sustainable clothing line to help citizens in impoverished areas and honor the country's resources. But when she discovers that Ekon Diallo — the man who betrayed her best friend — will be her business consultant, the battle between her desires and reality begins.
Ekon Diallo has lost everything: his princely title, his material possessions, his friends, and the respect of his fellow Ọlọrans. To pay for his actions against Ọlọrọ Ilé, he's forced to assist the charismatic Iris Blakely--but he can't allow his heart to distract him from regaining his status.”

8. Tracking Stolen Treasures by Lisa Phillips
Romantic Suspense is probably my favorite genre — even better if it’s clean or Christian!
I’ve never read a Lisa Phillips novel, but I have read some from the Harlequin Love Inspired Suspense line (which this book is part of), and those are always really great. Can’t wait to crack open this one!
A bit about the book:
“To expose a vicious jewel-theft ring, undercover FBI agent Alena Sanchez pursues a prime suspect at a mountain resort. Only the woman vanishes—forcing Alena to team up with search and rescue officer Hank Miller and his K-9 to save her. But with the criminals setting lethal traps, Alena and Hank are running out of time to catch the culprits before they end up dead.”

9. Dangerous Ranch Threat by Karen Kirst
Couldn’t help myself: another romantic suspense novel. I haven’t read any Karen Kirst books yet, either, but this one looks pretty good. Here’s what it’s about:
“An unknown enemy’s dead set on killing cattle rancher Cassie West—and she doesn’t know why. But when Cassie discovers several murder victims bear a striking resemblance to her, it’s clear that there’s a serial killer at large…and she’s the next target. She’ll have to rely on temporary ranch hand Luke McCoy to keep her safe. But can she and Luke expose the killer before they exact vengeance?”

10. Love in the Storm by Mandi Blake
I adore Mandi Blake! This one is her latest release, and I absolutely can’t wait to read it.
Here’s part of the blurb:
Lyric Woods has been sober for years now, but nothing about picking herself up from rock bottom has been easy. She’s behind on bills and on the verge of getting evicted, still paying for the mistakes of her past. When she is stranded with the police officer who doesn't remember her, she's afraid to reveal her secret.
Asa Scott isn’t complaining about being stranded with the beautiful Lyric. The kind woman tending his wounds after a wreck in the storm is the first to make him think he could move on after his wife’s death. But when he finds out about her record, he can't reconcile the woman from the past with the woman who cared for him at the cabin.
