It’s a new year. That means new books! But where should you start? There are so many amazing books being published every month that it can be hard to choose. 

Don’t worry, friend. I’ve got you! In this post, I’m sharing 10 Christian Fiction books I’m looking forward to diving into this year.

10 Christian Fiction Books for Your TBR List

I don’t know about you, but I have a hard time keeping track of the books I’ve read and the books I want to read. I tend to impulse-buy a book when it grabs my attention, and then it might sit in my Kindle for a year (or more!) before I actually read it.

So my goal this year is to get better about managing my TBR pile and sharing those books here on my blog and on my Instagram and Facebook.

Let’s start with the books I’m planning on reading this year.

1. The Roads We Follow by Nicole Deese

Nicole Deese is one of my favorite Christian authors. I read her novel The Words We Lost last year and could not put it down! I highly recommend that one!

This new novel (which comes out in April) follows the daughter of a country music legend as she tries to establish a career as an author. Country music and writing? Yes, please!

2. Memory Lane by Becky Wade

This one actually came out last year, but I never got around to reading it. It looks super cute, though, and has lots of positive reviews. I also adore Becky Wade!

The next in the series, Rocky Road, is available for pre-order now, so I’ll most likely add that one to my list after I read Memory Lane.

3. To Bring You Back by Emily Conrad

Full disclosure: This one has been sitting in my Kindle for at least a year. Oops! 

It was actually released back in 2021, but I have yet to read it. Not because I haven’t wanted to, though! 

So 2024 will be the year I dive into this one, especially because Emily has since released a few other books in the same series, and I’d love to read those, too. But I don’t want to do that until I’ve read this one.

To Bring You Back is a second chance Christian romance with plenty of great reviews. A little about it:

4. Indigo Isle by T.I. Lowe

This is another of the Christian Fiction books that have been on my TRB for a while. It came out last year and I’ve been wanting to read it ever since. It’s gonna happen this year!

Y’all, when I say T.I. Lowe is one of my absolute favorite authors, I’m not exaggerating. I read her book Under the Magnolias and fell in love! That book is in my top 10 reads of all time. And I’ve read a LOT of books, so that’s really saying something. (I highly, highly recommend it if you haven’t read it yet.)

So, when Indigo Isle came out, I immediately put it on my TBR — without even reading the blurb. That’s how good Under the Magnolias was. 

T.I. Lowe writes Southern fiction (which is right up my alley!). What this book’s about:

“Sonny Bates left South Carolina fifteen years ago and never looked back. Now she’s a successful Hollywood location scout who travels the world, finding perfect places for movie shoots. 5. The Lady’s Mine by Francine Rivers

If you read Christian Fiction (and probably even if you don’t), then you know who Francine Rivers is. I first fell in love with her writing when I read Redeeming Love — which is probably true of a lot of people. 

Since then, I’ve read a couple more of her novels, and she never disappoints. The Lady’s Mine is her latest release (I believe), and I can’t wait to devour it!

6. The Beekeeper Next Door by Danielle Thorne

Danielle Thorne is a fellow Georgia author, so I love supporting her! But I’ve also read her work, and it’s really good.

The Beekeeper Next Door is her upcoming Harlequin Love Inspired release (available for pre-order now) that follows a beekeeper (how fun!), her son, and their new next-door neighbor. 

Here’s the blurb:

7. To Win a Prince by Toni Shiloh

This book was actually released in 2022, but it looks super cute! I follow Toni Shiloh on social media and have been wanting to read her work — this one looks like a good place to start.

Toni won a Christy award last year (major award in the Christian publishing world!), so I know her books have got to be good. Can’t wait to dive into them!

8. Tracking Stolen Treasures by Lisa Phillips

Romantic Suspense is probably my favorite genre — even better if it’s clean or Christian!

I’ve never read a Lisa Phillips novel, but I have read some from the Harlequin Love Inspired Suspense line (which this book is part of), and those are always really great. Can’t wait to crack open this one!

A bit about the book:

9. Dangerous Ranch Threat by Karen Kirst

Couldn’t help myself: another romantic suspense novel. I haven’t read any Karen Kirst books yet, either, but this one looks pretty good. Here’s what it’s about:

But when Cassie discovers several murder victims bear a striking resemblance to her, it’s clear that there’s a serial killer at large…and she’s the next target. 10. Love in the Storm by Mandi Blake

I adore Mandi Blake! This one is her latest release, and I absolutely can’t wait to read it.

Here’s part of the blurb:
